Anyone here work(ed) as an archivist or similar?

How did it go @whiterussian?

I think it went ok, but won’t know anything until next week (it’s a public institution so lots of bureacracy to go through before the final decision is made).

I dreamt last night that they told me they didn’t think I did well at the interview, to which my response was to point out how their job ad was flawed because I lived up to everything in that :joy:

That’s great, well done and fingers crossed for you. :crossed_fingers:

Haha that sounds like a good response. You could also critique their interviewing! Don’t you love a good old anxiety dream?!

Hiya!

Only just seen this and it’s too late for your first interview (sorry!) but I spent a few years doing this in an historical county archive in the UK. Happy to answer questions etc when you progress. :+1:

I know this is a year late for your interview but I highly recommend the purchase of this recently released book from a Swedish Feminist organisation

I’m not currently working as an archivist by the way, but thanks for all your input anyway, everyone

yes, it crossed my mind that it might be right up your street

in fact it’s probably relevant to loads of folks here but
language barrier. I hope they do an English translation
