I think Annihilation is a lot better than Ex Machina (and Devs is shaping up to be even better than that, though Iām only 4 eps in)
I really disliked Annihilation, then really enjoyed the book, so now I want to give it another shot.
But also, eh
Yes! It didnāt seem to be the prevailing view at the time, but I also thought Annihilation was way better than Ex Machina. Planning to get Devs as soon as I wrap up the last couple of episodes of Kingdom (which is amazing)
Body Heat
Summer of Sam Absolutely incredible that nobody ever looked at this film and thought āweāve gotta get rid of all this adrien brody bullshitā coz other than that itās actually not bad. Feel like the idea of the drama between a group of friends over a summer with son of sam happening in the background is pretty solid.
The book is infinitely better, found it very weird the parts the film chose to leave out
