It’s going to be this year’s Funny Cow - good reviews, raves for the lead actress, and it’s probably going to tank

“Ain’t no place like, hooooooooooOOOOOOOOOme”

(also Red Joan fwiw)

High Life

Will go and see loads but obvs don’t really care about anything except Avengers

Very strong month, tough call between Ray & Liz and Minding the Gap for me, Clive.

Highly recommend Happy as Lazzaro to all for April viewing x

Was really bugging me in the Mid90s trailer where I knew the young actor from. Turns out he was the BOY in God of War from last year. Funny how recognisable he was.

Really really excited for Sisters Brothers. Think Jacques Audiard might just pip PTA as my favourite director.

v different from his other stuff but i still really enjoyed this

Annoyingly got forced to watch the trailer which showed basically the whole film, but

  • Going to see Pet Sematary
  • Not going to see Pet Sematary

Also have had “I DONT WANNA BE BURIED IN A PEEETTTT SEEMAATTARRY” in my head for a good month now because of this.

Thought Out of Blue was really underwhelming

wow, this looks bad

almost forty years into my filmmaking career, guess it’s time to make an ironic zombie comedy

think it’s a bit shit actually

reminded me of Upsteam Colour. Drowns under its own pretention
