I think Leicester’s a really tricky game for City, honestly. Reckon you’d sooner play any other side in the league except Liverpool or Spurs. I’d certainly be less worried about, say, Arsenal at home, or United away. Got that unpredictability about them haven’t they, frightening pace, and genuine quality in midfield. City’s weaknesses - Fernandinho’s fitness, the channels between centre-half and full-backs, defending quick breaks - probably suit them more than most teams.
Heard a football writer recently, think it was Jonathan Northcroft, who does have a link to the club so may be somewhat biased, suggest Leicester’s squad’s better than some clubs in the top six. Think i’d agree with that. Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi, Maddison, Tielemans, Vardy would walk into, say, Chelsea’s best XI surely?
City should win, but it’s not a gimme, and i’ve got a gut feeling it will be an absolutely ridiculous six or seven-goal end-to-end slobbernocker. Mike Dean’s the ref as well.
