are frankfurt fans playing a bit of the godfather music…

Feel a bit sorry for Mustafi.

You only have to look at Otamendi to see that 80% of defending’s in the coaching. Looked mint in La Liga (alongside Mustafi actually, maybe under Emery, i can’t remember), absolutely kamikaze under Pellegrini, then City’s best defender last season after a year of Guardiola.

The lad’s clearly thick as an old tree, but who was the last Arsenal centre-half to show any real consistency?

isn’t the joke that mustafi is by far the most consistent arsenal defender?

idk, bants aside probably mertesacker had a good season or 2 without a ricket in him?

Koscielny has defended brilliantly on one leg since coming back this season.

And is a brilliant defender all round.

Still give Valencia a 60-40 chance of going through. Their manager bottled it though.

If Chelsea players actually looked at each other when trying to pass the ball, they’d have won easily tonight. Instead just backheel_OUCH all evening.

Isn’t the next High Court date coming up? Surely Hilary can’t pull one out of the bag again!?

Everton v Burnley tonight.

Cheers FA. best league in the world.

can’t work out what you’re annoyed about here

oh this match has got humdinger written all over it

would still watch the snooker over it if i was in but both teams are in good form, not completely out of the realm of possibility that it’ll be a good match

Nobody watches football on Friday nights so it’s a blessing really.

good side, everton. capable of sticking four past even the best of teams imo

if I had no other plans or some reason was really eager to watch football on a balmy friday evening in may then I’d start with the turin derby and then switch to everton burnley after half an hour if that was boring, and then idk go to my local park or something if that was bad

I think Leicester’s a really tricky game for City, honestly. Reckon you’d sooner play any other side in the league except Liverpool or Spurs. I’d certainly be less worried about, say, Arsenal at home, or United away. Got that unpredictability about them haven’t they, frightening pace, and genuine quality in midfield. City’s weaknesses - Fernandinho’s fitness, the channels between centre-half and full-backs, defending quick breaks - probably suit them more than most teams.

Heard a football writer recently, think it was Jonathan Northcroft, who does have a link to the club so may be somewhat biased, suggest Leicester’s squad’s better than some clubs in the top six. Think i’d agree with that. Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi, Maddison, Tielemans, Vardy would walk into, say, Chelsea’s best XI surely?

City should win, but it’s not a gimme, and i’ve got a gut feeling it will be an absolutely ridiculous six or seven-goal end-to-end slobbernocker. Mike Dean’s the ref as well.

Bit cronenburg, bit Vincent adultman. Good photo

Think they are in court a week on Wednesday I think, then Bury are in court the week after.

Would agree with this. Take Hazard out of the equation and Chelsea are almost entirely high end journeymen.
