Last football post of the season. Done well all year, been to one game and that was only because there was a free bar. Managed to swerve all bar about six of City’s league games on the idiotbox, and perhaps most importantly got the betting under control for the first time in years.
Sort of felt myself getting pulled back in over March, though, so going to nip it in the bud whilst i can. Booked myself in for a load of overtime to make sure i’m otherwise occupied over the coming weeks including the final day.
Just for fun, a few predictions…

Juve will old man Barça in the European Cup final, win on pens or extra time, idk. The semis will be Spurs v Juve and Barça v Liverpool after Tottenham catch City cold in the first leg of the QF and Pep has a second leg meltdown after some sort of extraordinary refereeing decision. The Barça/Liverpool games will be absolutely brilliant.

Benfica will win the UEFA Cup.

West Brom will take the second automatic promotion place and Villa will get promoted via the play-offs.

Wolves will win the FA Cup, either with a backs-to-the-wall 1-0 against City or relatively comfortably should they play Brighton.

Mismanaging Agüero’s fitness will prove the defining factor in the title race. City will jizz a load of chances away at Palace and drop points. Liverpool win their next three and it gets wrapped up on the penultimate weekend when City fail to beat Leicester and Liverpool win at Newcastle.

A very good season will be rounded off by Sir Harry Kane lifting the Nations League in Portugal, and that, as we all know, is the real quiz.
