Cool remind me why this is a good idea to bring back again

Sort of wondering who’d take him now tbh. Madrid seem destined to sign Mbappe (or even Haaland but I have a suspicion he’ll go to Juventus), Barca couldn’t afford him and doesn’t seem to really fit with their twilight years Messi timeline.

In terms of taking a step up, who else is there? City? Wouldn’t go near United with a barge pole if I was looking to win trophies quickly.

Basically think he’ll stay at Spurs for the rest of his career.

Is it football o’clock yet?

Yes! Huge game with massive implications at both ends of the table between two #likeablelads Borussia Mönchengladbach vs Union Berlin at 2:30!

An Aguero-less, Europe-banned City could be ideal for him - big platform but reduced workload that may ensure domestic success

I’m heavily involved with my local club, committee member and all that, run the line if I’m around etc. We had our first meeting with the new managers of first and reserve teams yesterday. So excited for when this all starts again. Been decorating the club house, knocking a wall through to make the lounge bar area bigger, we’ve had some vertidrain (?) stuff done to the pitch, WELL EXCITE FOR FOOTERS. We’re also right on the edge of agreeing a merger of sorts with the local youth team (we’ve got a U18 side but nothing below that) and it’s all so positive and yay. GOALS!

Vardy is better than Kane

Oh and I scored an absolute wordie against the eldest kid from next door. Got a mini goal up and when I went round to take their dog back (cos it always escapes and sits in our garden - no big deal, but they probably want to know where he is), I teed a ball up then fucking whammoblasted it into the top corner, bit like that Le Tissier free kick. Felt like such a big man. Well done, he’s 13.

Yeah I agree, doesn’t seem a fit for Barca at all, reckon Madrid seems the most likely abroad option as they love to cherry pick then not appreciate our best players and you can see that happening again.

In the least, I reckon he’ll give Mourinho a full season and see what his options are next summer.

Football’s been gone so long I genuinely forgot who the Arsenal manager is.

Hahaha I literally forgot who it was in conversation yesterday

Was reading something earlier about Pochettino and it said that he and Unai Emery had a beer together cos they got sacked on the same day (or something like that), and I had to look up who the Arsenal manager currently is as I had a total brain vacuum. TBH not sure I could name all 20 Premiership clubs let alone their managers. IT’S COMING BACK, IT’S COMING BACK, IT’S COMING, FOOTERS’ COMING BACK.

Took me a minute to remember who was in charge of Everton before

A place in Manchester does a footy quiz and theyve taken it online. One of the questions recently was which two Prem managers first met in 1985. Took me ages to remember Everton had a new manager

Good to see the people running the club have arsenal’s best interests at heart

Probably recouped at least £24 of that back in shirt sales though

Inspired by @blimeycharlie saying the Brazil-Germany World Cup is on telly, what’s the biggest win you’ve seen your team do live, and what’s the biggest dicking you’ve seen your team suffer?
