Heheh I like that they had to get Ian to say that about the vitamins and omega3 after the fact just incase they got sued

He’s basically been the only prominent manager who consistently raised doping as an issue, calling for blood testing etc. I remember the last time he did it in a press conference it got a bit of media traction, apparently the following week UEFA came and tested every Arsenal player lol.

The guy’s commited to the ideals of fairness to a fault and I’m not having his name sullied with doping chat. He literally stormed off to Japan in disgust cos Marseille cheated their way to Ligue 1.

I wasn’t being serious. Just thought Wright’s description was hilariously suspect.

taking a look at the blood spattered across the walls of Arsenal’s historic injury room/abattoir, I’d be inclined to agree.

Good and bad. I do like hearing their anecdotes.
Don’t think they’re really putting much thought into it though.

The goalkeeper one was pretty bad, they didn’t really talk about the various strengths and weaknesses of different keepers.

Then again, I guess I get enough of that analytical content from serious beardy podcast types.

No team’s won the Premier League clean in 25 years, imho.

Also Big Sam will be fuming at tonight’s one.

Not sure. His early Arsenal sides were dirty bastards. Physically violent and basically the first team to master tactical fouling.

Isn’t that just cos they included several drunk Brits and Patrick Vieira

Dunno if anyone’s watching this Arsenal v Utd game, feels weird seeing Ronaldo playing. Seems ancient, way before he joined, except it isn’t.
