Knew this would be a complete wash-out the second I saw the questions, and irritated by myself for even submitting answers. Mostly take these competitions as vindication for not trying to understand any of you people or the public at large. Well done to whoever won, what a sad little life, my God.

I got two points for ‘hit the wickets’ in the how to get out in cricket. I didn’t know ‘hit wickets’ was a different thing, I just thought I was saying bowled out. Haha. Imagine if I came second and that cost me. I would’ve stabbed everyone. Haha.

The correct term is “hit the wickets with the ball”. That’s where you borked it. See also “hit the wickets with the bat” and “hit the wickets with the bollocks” tee hee Aggers do stop it etc.

Just catching up with the thread now. Excellent all round. Sorry to read all the beeves re googling. I think the only fair thing to do is cancel the quiz at this point before it really all kicks off and declare the winner at this point.

What a delightful surprise to wake up to. This is a very proud moment for me, I haven’t won anything since 2015 Labour Solutions Australia Employee of the Year (not as prestigious) Thanks to @NoahVale @unlucky and all the other 109 of you for mostly picking the same answers as me, much appreciated.

As there seems to be a lot of distress around the issue of Googling I completely understand if you want to retire AQoS and declare me winner for eternity. That seems the fairest solution.

Made this into a nice little gameshow and played it over Zoom with all the extended family last night. Worked so well!

Chose (and tweaked, to make more family friendly) a bunch of AQoS Qs I found in previous threads.

We just did it that I shared my screen and went through all these Qs individually and people wrote down their answers.

Then had a scoring round in which I asked someone for their answer, and everyone else that had the same raised their hand for easy visual scoring.

Everyone kept their own scores. Tallied them up every few Qs for updates on how everyone was doing.

Worked really nicely! :upside_down_face:

Used Photoshop. :slight_smile:

Can send you the file, but probably requires a little semi-expert knowledge to use with all ma fancy Filters and Smart Objects an that.
