This album feels like a horribly misguided after school special that Everything Is Terrible unearthed. I can’t picture anything but a husband and wife team enthusiastically running around on a church stage “relating” to teens about life in the modern world, complete with star wipes whenever the synths take the lead. Unbelievable.

of course you are all welcome to listen to whatever you like

but in my opinion they’ve always been terrible, I think I heard their first two albums a couple of times and thought it was all crap. Apparently those are the best ones so no doubt I’m not missing much

Just dont think Funeral is that good. Had its time and place but neon bible should have superceded it.
