I mean, there’s nothing really to ‘come back from’ is there? They’re doing arena tours and probably getting seven figures to headline festivals, even on the back of a duff album. They’re hardly on the ropes.

Reflektor 1 has some undeniable bops, Reflektor 2 is all killer no filler. I still enjoy listening to it all the way through, because I like that it’s very nearly brilliant but just doesn’t get the first half quite right.

I could gladly never hear anything off Everything Now ever again though, especially Creature Comfort :nauseated_face:

Probably my favourite ‘huge’ rock band and definitely one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen.

Having said that, Everything Now isn’t great - here’s hoping the middle stretch of songs remains their low point forever.
