Arctic Monkeys 2023

Every time I listen to There’d Better Be A Mirrorball I can’t get my head around how the scrappy youngsters I fell in love with on Myspace and fell out of love with by the time they released their debut have become the sort of band who can make… this.

20 years is a hell of a drug.

  10. Snap Out Of It

Atm. But a more general “Alex Turner” list would wipe out maybe half them. Guardian list reads like it was compiled by somebody who’s barely been listening since the debut, bar AM, tbh.

Two more brand new songs played last night at phone-free Brooklyn show, lots of chatter that Body Paint is especially fine.

Quite a deep cut playlist that, would be very up for them doing more of them.

I think last time they played a headline show in Bristol it was at the Bierkeller

Glastonbury headliners surely?

First time they’ve played Sheffield the day before my birthday since 2011, for any stats fans out there.

Potentially a gap for Primavera again as well?

Never seen them and hoped they’d play closer to home, but could be tempted by Dublin if some friends go along

Eeewwww stadiums

Highly doubt it given that they’re not doing consecutive nights in different cities anywhere on the tour. Can’t imagine them wanting to break that rule to schlep to Barcelona and back between Manchester and Middlesbrough.

Also lol at the Hives being a stadium support in 2023.
