There was that juicy rumor a few months back that The Talking Heads were working on a reunion tour and new album - sadly it appears to have been a fantasy as David Byrne still seems completely disinterested in the past.

Having seen L7 live this week, I wouldn’t mind another album from them.

Also, given that they’re still an active touring band, it’s a bit frustrating that Sisters Of Mercy haven’t released an album for a QUARTER OF A CENTURY. The new songs that they drop in their live set all sound superb, but apparently the sticking point is that Andrew Eldritch’s starting negotiation price for even entering a recording studio is…ONE MILLION POUNDS.

Manu Chao not released anything since La Radiolina in 2007 and that was sub par.

He is still constantly touring and very politically active but hasnt released or even wrote new material for a long while now. There is a still a stream of reproduced tracks coming out on his website from La Radiolina which he felt was incomplete on release.

Not going to happen is it. Byrne seems like an utter nightmare to work with and him and the rest of the band as far as I know havent been talking for a long time.
