I think Angel Dust is one of those albums that possibly has too many ideas for its own good, but absolutely every one of those ideas was ripped off by at least one lesser band.

eg. The Beach Boys were never going to inspire a load of shite because to rip them off is difficult. The harmonic structure of Brian Wilson’s writing is deeply complicated in a way that you can’t just rip off. Whereas Oasis are fairly easy to rip off, pop songs played through big amps while saying arrogant things.
