Anyone else off to Rough Trade tonight the q&a and live set?
Be good for them to chart. Can’t say I’ve been blown away by what I’ve heard but they are total sweethearts so good on 'em. They deserve it for A Life Less Ordinary.

They’re releasing a split single with The Subways where they cover each others ‘Oh Yeah’.
Don’t think Ash doing The Subways is on Spotify yet but there’s a 7” available to order if anyone fancies it.

Oh no
Went to see Ash vs The Subways last night. Ash are just an eternally brilliant live band, pretty much rotated the set two new songs/two classics worked really well. In fairness the subways were a lot of fun too.
The third band on were jealous nostril which turned out to be a johnny borrell project, really awkward around 30 people in when they came on

I loved the show in Bristol. Pleased that they’re playing so much of the new album, it’s one of their best.

Yeah i love it too, just a shame that a lot of the crowd clearly hadnt listened to it so those songs got a more muted response

There was a 10pm curfew at newcastle so everything was an hour early, think theyre normally half nine

Yep, they put the times up on the socials every night so best to check there as some are early shows.

Razorlight sold out the NX a few months ago, that’s quite the climb down.
I saw some set lists and glad to see the new album tracks getting a good airing, I think I saw they did 8 off it? Hope they do similar at Kentish Town.
It’s always good to see them on album tours as all but a couple of new tracks tend to go out of circulation to keep room for the hits at other shows. Like they tend to only play a couple off Islands nowadays.
