Alright calm down

Currently reading Snow Crash, maybe Iā€™ll tackle Seveneves next.

Just realised thatā€™s a palindrome!

I found Cryptonomicon a bit boring!

WD 40 is a good thing to spray on to help remove the old sealant.

When you do the replacement youā€™ll want a little shaping tool to help you sculpt it and also the gun and sealant, which is actually pretty cheap from hardware stores.

Those are the sort of things that get you the right shape.

I used one without a gun and without a tool. But then again I am a badass.

Oh good on you. Did you just use a hammer to force the plunger down? I did without a tool the first time (wet my finger and used that) but honestly, it just looked a bit shit compared to using the tool.

No, the one (my wife) bought was similar to a large tube of toothpaste and yeah, wet finger.

Ah fair enough. I have one of those DIY guides that basically said buy a gun and the big tube to go in it. Itā€™s probably the buildersā€™ equivalent of how chefs are afraid of using a garlic press in case it damages their rep.

Rugs

Absolute filth.

thick rugs then?

what flooring have you got?

Rugs?

Do you have curtains, or blinds?

Guys I think weā€™re overlooking the obvious answer here: rugs.

Weirdly, I was editing an article about damp earlier this week so the issue had come up.

Still managed to fuck up kerb / curb though.

Hundred Reasonsā€™ second album went through several drafts.
