I did similar when moving into a new uni room, best part of the fresher’s fair free pizza and new posters. I got a giant Pulp Fiction poster where Vincent and Jules are in the apartment pointing the gun, made the mistake of putting this up by my bed and led to a series of dreams that peaked with a vivid one of turning around on the bus upstairs to get shot by them causing me to wake suddenly and finding myself underneath the poster.

Switched up my poster selection after that, and lots more blu tack.

My freshers fair poster purchases were

Harvey Keitel shooting his guns and a quote from Reservoir Dogs (it was 1993, Pulp Fiction was still a year away)

Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics sticker poster

Poster of a generic attractive girl with no top on but her arms crossed and blank and white so it was tasteful. Embarrassed that I wasn’t embarrassed about it

My room in halls in my first year. Two New Order posters, one Pet Shop Boys. I’m fairly sure there was another PSB one up on another wall. Also featuring a black and white telly with a dial to change channels (tuning it like a radio) and a stolen “Next Customer Please sign”. Those speakers were about 30 years old, and I blew them within about six months of inheriting them :confused:

I’d gladly have that up now. A couple of years ago I was happy to find I’d carefully stored away this rad model lamborghini I got for my 10th birthday.

Rad indeed! There is a similarly sized one I owned in my youth of a Countach at my parent’s house. I was obsessed with the Lamborghini Countach. Obsessed.
