High or low Timberlands for around town.
3 varieties of walking shoes/boots (light ‘trail’ style, light waterproof, full-on ankle support) for hitting the crag or, y’know, ‘hiking’.
And smart shoes, natch.
Never find myself in a situation where I need trainers these days.

Very snazzy. Do Mums/Nans still say things are “snazzy” sometimes?

I dont like this sorry please remove yourself from this thread and go to the nike sale immediately

i don’t think may are limited edition which is where the big bucks are.

Sorry :disappointed:

Yeah I know lots of people don’t get on with them. They suit my feet and I love em.

Actually just remembered I have a pair of these which I’ve not even worn yet!!!

Ooft! They look like beasts! Like advanced ballet shoes
I am desperate for some new clipless shoes.

Might get these TODAY:
No one under then age of 30 wears converse anyway.

*runs *

They look really lovely. Think I’m gonna get myself some spd-sls before this charity ride.

Who are you running from? There’s nobody under 30 on here…

That makes me feel much better about it. Nothing worse than a middle aged man trying to reconnect with the yoof

Ahem

I’ve got some black elements: look nice but falling apart after only about 3 months.

Only etnies seem to last more than a year with me.

Your ‘wtf?’ is justified then.

I know someone who collects the limited edition ones. He’s sitting on something worth as much as his house…

i really want the white ones but i can’t find them anywhere (and i know they’ll get dirty v quickly) and i just don’t want the black ones so these seem like a compromise, plus they’re LADIES ones

Currently rocking these stone-cold classics:

My sister-in-law’s mate works for Nike so she can get them like 50% off, so planning just to keep restocking up on these for as long as that’s feasible. Really comfortable, and I like the fact they’re all leather uppers, they just feel more durable. My previous pair of Nike Air Max were all plasticky and fell apart super quick. Same deal with the Stan Smiths I had, I wore them a lot to be fair but they fell apart pretty quickly.

I have a pair of Convere IIs in the box I still haven’t worn, should have cracked them out for the hot weather.
