👟 TRAINERS THREAD 👟

These aren’t cheap and are maybe more colourful than you’d want…

I don’t hate them actually.

Maybe I think I’m looking for the wrong thing…

And ÂŁ90 seems to be going rate for these.

I had these Tailwind’s last year but couldn’t seen them in an 11 anywhere

https://thesolesupplier.co.uk/ is really good for this - if you just search for the shoe you’re looking for, it comes up with all the variants that everywhere are selling, I’ve found it so useful in the past

This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping someone would know about.

Thanks!

Have you tried Nike.com? Might sound obvious but they have colourful Pegasus in size 11 and you can also do design your own for less ÂŁÂŁÂŁ than you might think

I feel like I have looked there but I’m now starting to doubt myself…

How annoying is it to find a trainer you like, only to then see that it’s not available in your size

(I appreciate I could buy the black ones, but the counter colour isn’t quite white, so they’re a no from me)

And now I’ve seen that they’re available in the US in yellow / blue

Decided to try out Karhu, very comfy on a first try

Went for a little meander around the shops at lunch. Nike store had these daybreaks considerably marked down. Will I/Won’t I… I shouldn’t.

I’ve got those but just warning, they’re very much a summer shoe. The mesh is just…mesh, so in autumn / winter you’ll end up with very cold toes / soggy socks.

Yeah agree with it being a summer shoe, was my go to in the heatwave

Thanks. Definitely one of those id pick up now because of the decent price and break out in the spring.

Here’s an unhelpful reply…I picked up a pair of these in black at the start of the summer. I worn them once. I think I prefer the white version now.

This is a bit of a dorky question, but does anyone know of any cool/hype/fresh/whatever trainers that also offer good arch support? I normally go for skate styles but have been having some plantar fasciitis issues recently and could use something a bit more supportive. Was thinking something in the old school running show styles might work?

Not a shoe solution, but I was having plantar fascitis issues and I got one of those foot rollers and spiky ball things, and it’s been a total gamechanger. I use it in the morning and I don’t have foot pain all day!
