I actually do totally believe it. I’ll admit to a mini-wobble this week, but then that is because Johnson is doing a good job of pretending to no deal, which is what he always said he would do, to prove to the EU he means it, as that is our only negotiating chip.

Urgh that’s grim. My drama teacher at school told us once about how he helped out filming a news piece at a business event in the 80s, and Thatcher turned up. He said all these American capitalists had this almost religious experience when she walked in the room. It was the most horrifying thing he’d ever witnessed.
