Drinking definitely is (at least one of the screens has, or had, cup holders on the seats). Eating might be frowned on but I always ate my cookies (from the stand at the top of the stairs) very quietly.

I’m thinking of watching the Nightingale tonight, dunno if I’m necessarily ready for it (need to take a bit more of a running jump into watching high levels of cruelty and that these days)

Thinking about shelling out to rent the Haunting (the original from the sixties) as an alternative

I’d recommend The Call on Netflix

Good Manners is good, bit overlong but the CGI is as bad as Map to the Stars

So Forrest Whittaker’s accent in The Crying Game may be the worst I’ve ever heard. What was he even doing

Booked Tenet for the BFI Imax on August 26th. What a big treat that will be.

Watched Twilight 1, and will watch the rest over the coming days. I have only seen a bit of the sequels which I remember being dire, but I kind of enjoy the first one. It’s real bad, but it’s entertaining to laugh at and, strangely iconic.

Bella Swan finding out what vampires are via a google search is one of the best scenes of all time.

How are they handling it? Might do our first non essential venture out since Lockdown…

One seat inbetween bookings. No extra spacing in between rows.

Though the AV Club is pretty terrible these days, this list isn’t bad

Great list, cant argue with that top 3.

have actually been considering this for some reason. is there at least some nice PNW scenery?

Speaking of K-Stew. I watched Charlie’s Angels the other day and she is absolutely fabulous in it and made it worth watching despite it being fairly terrible.

Big fan of Ella Balinska too.

Yeah she was great. Very Bond-esque (which I think is what they were going for).

Watching The Dreamers, basically a way for Bertolucci to show off the fact he has seen a film or two before

Yeah the actors are fine in it, the film itself is pretty awful

I like how they’re still doing these straight to DVD/VOD ‘American Pie: Presents’ films
