I was on a webex yesterday and one bloke had a massive clock behind him, like 1m across where you individually screw the numbers into the wall.

I said ‘at least we won’t lose track of time’. No reaction from anyone at all.

I always thought rollers were a mugs game, why roll when you can wield a brush like monet. But then I painted a room with one and it was a revelation. Easy, even distribution of paint over a large surface with very little dripping and minimal hassle. Now I’m as wedded to painting with a roller as I am roasting with greaseproof paper
