B Sides that should have made the Album

Let’s All Make Believe is very good, its on the Japanese version of the album.
Full On would have been another good bside from that era and would have liveend the album up a bit.
This album marks the start of them getting lazy with b-sides.

Isn’t that a Era Vulgaris B side?

Good shout. Love that album but cocaine socialism should be on there for sure.

I thought that had been the case but it turns out they had just misplaced it.

The tapes got lost. Actually, they were just at another studio, but we falsely accused everyone in the world of theft.

It was supposed to be on Lullabies, but it was eventually released during the Era Vulgaris period.

Blur - Blur

In- Swallows in the Heatwave
Out: Look Inside America

Never felt look inside America fit on this album. Plenty of good b sides that could have replace Dancehall, Get Out The Cities ,but went with Swallows as that’s one was the one I always remebered from the CD singles.

Revolver

In: Rain
Out: Yellow Submarine

gotta be honest, for me that album plunges off a cliff after the first 5 songs, could have taken loads off of it. Even ‘The Professional’ could probably sneak on there, though I don’t think it’s a particularly great track.

(not a B-side per se; was buried on a film soundtrack)

oh man, I love TV Movie and Seductive Barry. Would replace I’m A Man in a heartbeat, and one of Dishes or Sylvia instead.

Radio Song.
Very poor start to the album imo.

There’s an excellent live version of that on REM at The BBC released a couple of years.

Great track. Could see on the album slotted in after Country Feedback and before Me In Honey perhaps.
