Plus you’d have been a lot younger than I am now when they were really hard work, so more physically able to cope.

I see what you mean about being more laid back. First time round you’re bricking it, wondering if you’ve done the wrong thing all the time. I remember getting back from the hospital and me and my other half saying “what the fuck do we do now?”

I remember being in a buggy with plastic covering and enjoying the raindrops on the plastic and the sound and way they trickled down.

I remember blue curtains in my childhood home looking like an old lady in a big coat.

I remember some weird like kaleidoscopic colour and sound stuff that I’m assuming was from the womb or maybe I got really high as a baby

when my 1st was born I was 24 and had never even held a baby until then. It’s amazing how you just get on with it though

I remember bringing her home from the hospital so well. I lay her down on the carpet for a mo when we got in from the hospital and lay down facing her - and she sort of reached over her little hand to my face and looked right at me and :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:
