The type of bacon and how it’s cooked will define the optimum condiments as well as bread type / preparation.

Crispy streaky bacon x 4, thin sliced granary or brown toast, butter, mayo, lettuce, tomato
Medium back bacon x 2-3, white roll, butter, red or brown sauce
Cold medium back bacon x 2-3, seeded sub roll, brie
Medium to crispy middle bacon x 2, sourdough slightly toasted, mashed avocado

Perfectly happy with any permutation of options but voted what i tend to do at home. Although a BLT needs mayo AND ketchup, the standard to have just mayo is weird and wrong

Obviously bacon & sausage, or bacon & egg are the 2 best sandwiches, but this thread is purely about bacon sandwiches, if you can’t handle that then you have my sympathy.

Oh there’ll be some try-hard or other don’t worry.
A good little tip if anyone wants one is to snip little cuts into the fat strip before cooking. It makes the fat crisp up more and the rasher doesn’t curl up as much either
