I have inherited all of mine from my parents. Don’t like 13 (dad), don’t open umbrellas in the house (mum) or if I do, I feel a pang of guilt. Am vaguely wary of the number 4 too even though it’s not unlucky in my culture, but in far east/south east Asia. 8 is lucky which I like as my birthday is 8.88 in the lucky year of the dragon. When I was a kid I had rivals, it was entirely one sided and in my head 
I liked 8 even then, and my rival fiona was chosen in year 2 because she had an 8.8.88 bday while I had a measly 25.8.88, and also because she liked take that who I thought were lame

Always walk up the hill back from LIDL to my house rather than the more direct flat route as the latter was my choice in 2016, the year everything went wrong.
