Kicks - trainers
Hasn’t this been in the common vernacular since like the 60s
Slang can come from any period of time. JD Sports just emailed me offering some kicks. Don’t call my wheels, kicks, twats!
Snags
Clobber/Clobba
Proper haircuts edition
I had a mission deli wrap for lunch.
Bad - Good
Might start saying good for bad.
That would be sick!
am I still ok to say “cheerio”?
I like saying cheerio
I bet they’re the illest!
Yes that is bad (good).
I’m guilty of saying sick and wicked like something out of a government filmed teen safety video
apparently ‘phoney’ came into fruition just after the invention of the telephone
people were worried that the callers might be fraudsters or fake people so they called them ‘phonies’
anyway, enjoy your day
I say “dude” far too often for someone in their 30s
Everyone gets called man too
I really hate it when people call me dude
there always seems to be an element of disrespect
This is an example of a word that has somehow crept into my vocabulary over the past 10 years against all my better judgment.
What if I did this at the same time
that would be acceptable!
