Pretty crushed it seems @bugduv isn’t still rocking an old Tesco’s carrier bag, TBH.

Out and about I have either a tote or a rucksack but I tend to go rucksack. However, when you’ve got a toddler you need to carry a SHIT TONNE of stuff out: spare clothes, snacks, pens and paper, misc toys, etc. and you also want your hands free as much as possible.

Can’t believe you engaged with this AV, mate. I mean come on? Vintage kik (and I love it) but the idea of me being able to do my job without my laptop is a bit laughable so yeah, a lot of us need a bag and yer man knows it

It’s a shame that ll bean and the countryside make people think of tories. I Like the bags though.

Totes are totes crap

Only really use a rucksack to carry a book

Really want this but have absolutely no need for a new rucksack :woman_shrugging:

It does look nice. Can you get rid of one of your other bags?

No. My others are a massive kanken that I’ve had for nearly ten years and a limited liberty print mipac one. I love them too much to deliberately part with them.

The problem is as much use isn’t it? I mean when you have multiple bags you love equally none of them really get enough use, you’re always thinking of the other bags you could have taken out…

does anyone know of a bag like this that doesn’t cost a million pounds

Got a Decathlon rucksack that I use most of the time because I’m a dweeb.
A grey small messenger bag, if I’m going out after work and still need to take some stuff with me.
A green bigger messenger bag if I am feeling youthful and vibrant… hasn’t been used in 6 months.
A laptop bag that work gave me, which can be used as messenger bag or rucksack or carried. Sometimes use this to transport beer.
1 x anchor steam brewery tote
1 x glasgow film festival 2018 tote
1 x Goat (the band) tote
Totes are pretty crap, they work ok when you have heavy stuff in but if it’s just a few light things does slip of your shoulder unless you hold it with your hand too.

Also 1 x massive green vango ruck sack from ‘travelling’

Turns out they specialise in cartoon bags

Rhyming tote :grinning:

Got some brown leather satchel thing. Don’t mind a rucksack/backpack but they are bit annoying if you want to quickly get something out of them as you have to take the straps off your shoulders first. Not very practical.

This is my bag. Its done me very well, 2 outside compartments (one for medication, other for phone chargers, got to have a system obviously, I’m not a monster).

Love a tote though, I have over a hundred of them. Got this LGBT Switchoboard one the other day which is mint.
