One of those things that you don’t need to fuck with. Bit of chilli sauce or Worcester sauce or Tabasco or whatever? Nah. Just cook those beans til the sauce has thickened, and job’s a good’un.

If someone served you a fry up with hoops in that little ramekin you love so much instead of beans, you’d hit the roof and rightly so.

Baked beans are very Brits being at it.

“the same sort of thing” doesn’t mean “identical”

  • both go on toast
  • both go in a jacket potato
  • both are tinned
  • both are covered in yummy tomato sauce
  • personally I wouldn’t have spaghetti hoops in a cooked breakfast but each to their own
  • leave my ramekin out of this, that’s a low blow!

How is your birthday?

I’m eating a sausage, so pretty good thanks. How was yours?

So does paté and that’s not the same sort of thing

Anything can go on a jacket potato

Can’t just buy loose beans/hoops that would be absurd

Thats the one similarity, granted.

Nobody would, except maybe the serial killer community.

Yeah sorry, didn’t mean to get personal.

I love curry! Good choice.

While you’re here, might I ask, do you think that baked beans and spaghetti hoops are ‘the same sort of thing’?
