when do we start

Live albums coming into play or just studio recordings? Hard Rain is essential imo, and then we have Dylan and the Dead which is not so essential.

If you don’t eat your Down In The Groove there’ll be no Time Out Of Mind for eventual pudding

Have barely listened to Bob since I subjected myself to that in 2023.

I’ve just stuck on Nashville Skyline, I’m going rogue

This could be a good opportunity to pick up the CDs I’m missing in advance of each week.

I’ve somehow never listened to the Basement Tapes

I bought a Greil Marcus book about it in Oxfam a couple of years ago so I guess I should

I’ve been on a pretty mean Dylan streak for a week or so. I will say that the Bootleg live comp of the christian era albums has much better versions of those songs, though its still not really great material

Great book, adds so much to those songs.

Feels good to have some structure in place for my 2025, thanks!

No structure to my work life, an itemised weekly schedule to listen to 60 year old albums. Correct priorities

same!

Heck with it! I’m in.

I’ve spent the last five years trying to do my own listening club. Taking my sweet-ass time with it. Dropping in & out and not being very consistent with it. At the end of last summer I got to Slow Train Coming. I threw in a couple of live albums a long the way. I read Chronicles last year and he was my most played artist as well.

The Live albums and the Basement Tapes could be a follow-up listening club? If people have the appetite for that.

Love Bob Dylan but have some pretty big gaps - well in for this

My manager did NOT share this opinion when I told him what I did with my 2024
