Bought :+1:

(btw, you’ve put the wrong link next to Thanya Iyer in the credits bit at the bottom of the page)

It’s from a show at Ramsgate music Hall that I was at and was a brilliant night. 50% of sales going to the venue

It’s really good - a return to Pale Sketches sounds (and also a bit of one of his other alter-egos, erm, Pale Sketcher).

In related news There’s also another Bandcamp-only Kevin Richard Martin album out for all those Techno-Animal completists out there (I am one such I declare)

Another Radio Dept single out:

Titus Andronicus compilation of their 7" singles:

Those + Boygenius + Free Cake For Every Creature + Cloud Nothings + a few EPs and singles I’d been meaning to buy for a while = a good day’s spending.

why do i keep looking at this thread… so much money spent today!

Loads of Hey Colossus albums are Pay what you want - including the incredible dedicated to Uri Klangers…

Sige Records have put up a bunch of releases, all benefiting BLM organisations and other charities. Releases from Aaron Turner, and lots of others.

I’ve picked up several by Mamiffer which I’m a big fan of. Experimental, natural, droney post-rock sort of stuff.

Wow. A new Boris album. Now that is a band with a name that is hard to search for nowadays.

My pickups for today:

Michael Denny - Noir
Filmic electronic/neo classical goodness I discovered via a BBC Sleep playlist. For fans of Ólafur Arnalds and Michael Price, early Erased Tapes stuff. I’m literally the only person who’s bought this so far… seems a shame it’s so overlooked.

Bow Church - The Spirits In This Forest Are Older Than Your Gods
Brilliant dark wave/outrun album that got a ton of recs in the last couple of weeks on DiS. You’ll dig it if you already dig Carpenter Brut, Perterbator, Gunship etc.

Ben Chatwin - Staccato Signals / Drone Signals
More electronic/neo classical stuff. Been sleeping on these releases for ages, figured today was a good day to buy them. Loved his previous releases, The Sleeper Awakes and Heat & Entropy. Fans of Ben Lukas Boysen will love him.

I really like Staccato Signals but haven’t listened to the other one yet. I think Ben Chatwin lives in my sleepy little commuter town but I’ve not found him yet.

I’ve just bought the vinyl for the Evening Hymns album, which was released last week and which I’ve been listening to constantly.
Occasionally reminds me of John Grant, but way better.

and I’ve just seen that Evening Hymns and Nnamdi both have songs on the @GoldFlakePaint compilation, so that’s that purchased also!
