Alligator is my favourite of the four National albums I’ve heard (Alligator, Boxer, High Violet and Trouble Will Find Me). Are we counting that as early stuff or middle stuff?

I’d say early, but I don’t mind really

Brian Jonestown Massacre hit their stride with Satanic Majesty’s Second Request and were pretty great up until Don’t Get Lost, but have been pretty dull since then.
