Very much worth seeing they’re incredible live and generally over here every summer
Fontaines D.C ![]()
I’m sure that there’s quite a few from the early-mid-00s that never came to Newcastle, who I really wanted to see, and never got around to, but the only one that I can think of, who I haven’t subsequently seen on a reunion tour, is Erase Errata
It was The Magic Numbers but I finally got around to them last month.
I’m pretty sure I’ve attended multiple festivals at which The Walkmen performed and I failed to catch them for various reasons.
Beastie Boys. And unfortunately, I never will ![]()
Radiohead
(I half watched them at a very early gig pre-Pablo Honey but it really feels like that doesn’t count at all)
There’s a few smaller ands I have a semi interest in who seem to be at a lot of things I go to who I haven’t seen like Employed to Serve and then there’s bands I like who broke up or rarely do shows like The Distillers where its not really that surprising I haven’t managed to catch them
Probably biggest band I haven’t seen who are still an ongoing thing and are something I’d likely go to if they played are AFI or Rancid. Never seen Blink 182 but bollocks am I paying them prices
Arctic Monkeys too I guess
Adebisi Shank - fixing that next month though ![]()
I wouldn’t have seen them, but I was at Reading in 2005 and at the time my mate’s brother in law worked for Q and told us that we needed to be at the tent they were playing in. We couldn’t even get inside the tent it was so busy. I doubt I’d have seen them if it wasn’t for that
Yeah, I mean, they’re not high up on a bucket list or anything like that for me but I’m sure that when the opportunity has passed I’ll regret not having seen them in all their rock n roll glory
No regrets about never seeing Oasis though. I even accidentally caught a bit of Coldplay once, after they were on straight after New Order at a Glastonbury I went too and I couldn’t get out of the field because of all the hordes of people going the other way to see Chris Martin and pals.
New Order or OMD, probably.
Oh maybe add New Order being good to my list, the only time I saw them was at that Glastonbury and it was pretty bad.
Interpol, The Shins, REM, Liz Phair
Beck.
Missed seeing him supporting Radiohead, as again, we were running late.
Heard a few notes while sitting in a McDonald’s a few hundred yards from the gig.
Have had tickets twice to see Hannah diamond and could go both times due to illness ![]()
Death grips
Cancelled twice when they where well into cancelling things so haven’t seen them
can’t relate
Arcade Fire. Not gona go now.
