It’s a national / public holiday in England and Wales. Scotland has different rules and I’m not sure about Northern Ireland. We get 8 of these each year wherever you live in the UK.
‘Bank’ holiday is literally that the banks are closed, but it really means a public holiday. Except most shops and restaurants are open, so really it means office workers get the day off.

Got to be honest. I normally wake up and there are 300-400 missed posts I miss, just cant be arsed to read them all. Not your fault I’m American :rofl:. Certain artists I’ll read them all, surely not the Strokes however.
