I need a team. Luka Doncic is the foundation of my fantasy team, is it reasonable to start rooting for Dallas? Or are they like the Cowboys and everyone hates them? I should support the Knicks I guess having actually seen them in real life, but from the little I know that doesn’t sound like a recipe for happiness.

Dallas is probably alright, and Luka is a really fun young player, as good a reason as any. Reckon the Knicks might be nearer to the NBA equivalent of the Cowboys tbf (been shite since the 90s, daft owner)

regular season, doesn’t count.

Knicks are looking at being less awful than usual this season, but I have decided - too late, mind - that life in 2021 is too bleak for choosing to support a team who will probably not be truly competitive any time soon.

but don’t support the Mavs. too easy. Doncic is already a top 5 superstar player. a cheat code.

jump on the Hornets bandwagon. Lamelo Ball is actually quite good already and they currently look like they’ll be a surprise playoffs team.

also Mavs are Western Conference. supporting an Eastern Comference team means you might be able to catch more games as they happen.

Hawks on early 'cuz MLK day.

novelty of watching them so early is good, and they have a game they (really, really) should win against the T-wolves

hoping Trae’s form picks up

read that there was some tension between him and JC and Clint, but seemingly nothing that couldn’t be worked through

fuck the 6ers.

mark of how ridiculous Clint has been for the Hawks is being 2nd in the league in second chance points and rebounds

(also a mark on the trash shooting of late)

watching a stream with the Detroit comms guys on.

actually really like the old dude for Detroit. very soothing, like a gentle basketball grandad.

bit bare bones tonight, starting Solomon Hill :grimacing:

(shoots it better than most of our guys from three tbf)

^ actually think I’m glad that it’ll be mostly on JC and Trae to score heavily tonight

Jerami Grant’s balling, tbf

Trae 1 of 4 from FT

idk where his shot’s gone, but it’s going further :frowning:

14 boards, 4 mins left in the 2nd

WORK

1 of 5?

2 of 9 from the field

Kyrie/KD/Harden Nets ten points down to the Cavs rn

got nothing against KD, really, but hahahahaha
