Nice! I’ll start that today. Is the coach a nice guy or a wrong un?

sorry I had my regular account reactivated to avoid confusion. So far he seems a nice guy, but not on the same level as John Beam in the latest season of Last Chance U football. He was the best!

oh man, that poor guy living in the weird sci fi house :frowning:

Beam was such a refreshing change from the last two.

Watch out for them UCONN Huskies! Sneaky 7 seed in the East. Played bad in their semi final game in the Big East Tournament against a good Creighton team. However, they have a lights out player in James Bouknight who is a legit NBA caliber guard.

@Acorn I have been remembering you saying this whenever I stay up until 3am on a weekday to watch the Pels throw away another massive lead in the 4th. It gives me a crumb of comfort that maybe things will get better, and this team I chose to support for not much reason at all will stop being a massive disappointment.

Anyway, I stayed up to watch the Pels / Portland game last night and…

This is awful news:

I mean, the game after they blew out the Clips and all…

seems sort of fun, I guess. like a random results generator.

I’d say last night was, well, Dame right? however, the T-Wolves blew the Pels out the game before, so

:upside_down_face:

just had a chat with our boy prof about how great Hawks are rn

blowing OKC away tonight. Bogi’s caught fire, which :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@NeilYoung your boys taking on the streak rn!

HaWWWWWWWks keeping it tight

Anyone watching Pels-Nuggs?

Looks like it should be a fun finish

missed it, and looking at the final score, I reckon @coolerthantv missed it and all

still no idea what to make of the Pels!

Not sure van Gundy has any idea what to make of the Pels either, tbf

just realised I haven’t posted in here since the Hawks beat the Lakers

the Hawks beat the Lakers

I don’t believe there were any extenuating circumstances

I saw something about the two potential paths for the team

I mean, I glanced at it; one was Zion bully ball, the other was playing mostly through Ingram

fun for neutrals, innit

Your no. 2 in the west Phoenix Suns playing the Lakers tonight. Without LeBron and Davis

Get your money on the Lakers

Oh yeah, they’re great fun to watch

Reckon Ingram will leave if they just go with “this is Zion’s team, just give him the ball”?

did you see any of the game yesterday?

Lakers without those dudes… against an unquestioned elite team?

I’m not going to just say with confidence that the Lakers won’t score more than 80, because then it won’t happen

but

I don’t know what contract he’s on, so idk…

but the thing I saw suggested the Zion-centric path can win now, but the Ingram path will take a few years but has a higher ceiling?

speculation gonna speculate, tho

Didn’t see them yesterday, but the Suns seem to thrive against teams they aren’t expected to beat, we lost to the Timberwolves this week, and Brooklyn without their big 3 a few weeks ago.

Great against playoff teams at their strongest though. Just need to pretend LBJ and AD are out there

see, people on NBA Twitter and etc have been making out like Hawks wouldn’t have stood a chance if LBJ hadn’t gotten hurt

but I reckon his injury might have lead to the Hawks playing a bit sloppier? we were on top before he went out, anyway.

so I can see where you’re coming from.
