Fuck this misleading subtitle. Of course there’s an increase in other causes of death, but it all comes back to the virus, the lockdown and the strain the NHS is under. I know they clarify this in the article but what one earth does saying this on the homepage achieve aside from casting doubt on the impact the virus is having? FFS
