Oh hell yeah, I was being very, very generous. It’s way beyond what should be acceptable. If I recall correctly I was ham-handedly trying to avoid saying something like ‘The problem of trying to write things with a reading age of 5,’ and I was definitely not letting them off on it.
I did not manage to land what I was intending to write properly, to be fair - I have had a couple of nights of dogshit sleep and I’m very stressed though, so I’m going to blame the lack of my usual excellent nuance and wit on that!
