BBQ sauce is alright. BBQ flavoured sundries are usually a bit naff.

A colleague had a bag of ‘BBQ Pulled Pork’ popcorn earlier. We all tried it. We all agreed it was a terrible idea

BBQ sauce on a pizza is ok, but i usually find by halfway through i wish i’d had a standard pizza instead.

@whiterussian for a cheese and chips aficionado BBQ sauce is really a must sorry m8

Yeah, gets real sickly real quick

i haven’t even tried it and agree that it’s a terrible idea

I fucking love cheese and chips though

@zxcvbnm! Yesss!!!

Do you know what I really like? Good old Hunters Chicken in a pub. Chicken, BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese - all the best ingredients melted together.

Doesn’t that mean…I’m right…?

Hell yeah. The dieter’s nightmare and the pub gourmet’s delight.

I wish we had a dislike button

well partly, i wouldn’t say BBQ sauce on a pizza is bad, but it’s definitely less good. for a slice or two every now and then it’s nice to mix things up.

Those and BBQ Mini Cheddars are the exceptions that prove the rule.

you don’t know what you’re missing

The flavour wasn’t too bad, but it just doesn’t go with popcorn. Popcorn + crisp flavours = error

exactly my thinking, just sounds like a flavour/snack type combo that doesn’t work.

^this

So:
proper pizza = very good
BBQ sauce on appropriate things = very good
BBQ sauce on pizza = less good

I think you just need to mix up your pizza-eating with more appropriate BBQ sauce accompaniments rather than crossing the streams. Then everyone’s happy.
