I like beaches now. In fact, I love beaches. I used to hate them.

Worst day out ever. Fine for a quick walk.

Don’t like the sun, don’t like sand, seawater makes me throw up if it gets in my mouth

Love a walk across a beach though, especially on a grey and windy day, cup of tea in hand.

One of life’s greatest pleasures is walking along a beach early in the morning in a foreign clime, barefoot at the point where the tide just reaches your feet.

They’re fine.

I can’t help but feel all this sand chat is discriminating against some DiSsers hometowns.

Never been as disappointed as I was when I ran down to Brighton beach and found … pebbles :unamused:

Quite like them for about 2 hours - long enough for a walk next to the sea, maaaybe a quick sea swim, an ice cream… then what?

Bored after that.

Add in an extra 45 minutes if you’ve got a decent pier.

The grain of sand that broke the camel’s back
