I’d have a pie and beans for lunch EVERY DAY for the rest of time if society and modern medicine weren’t constantly telling me not to.

Ooh I have just read off the back of this that garbanzo is actually derived from the Spanish! That bean better get on a plane!

Tin of mushroom soup, tin of sweetcorn, bit of curry powder, mix it all up, instant cheapo chowder!

Love beans, they’re great in every role from saintly to sinful. Black beans are the best I reckon.

Slow cooked meat and bean casseroles like Feijoada and Cassoulet are some of my favourite meals.

Baked beans can do one, don’t want my beans all jammy thanks.
