Update:

I bought the Beardscape one, and itā€™s unbelievably good. Cuts through everything, doesnā€™t pull, canā€™t even feel it. Only needed one go over, done in 3 minutes. Beautiful.

If youā€™ve had anything like the same problems I did - 100% worth the money.

What model are you talking and what level stubble are we talking here (and no, I donā€™t know what 0.5mm means, I want pictorial referencesā€¦)

I bought a Phillips one a year or so ago and it is shite. Only really works when I take the guard off which cuts too close. With the guard itā€™s uneven and takes about 30 mins to do.

I appreciate your on going efforts.

Iā€™ll upload a photo of my glorious visage when freshly trimmed tomorrow.

The four hour battery seems accurate, and thereā€™s a digital display to tell you how long you have left, so you donā€™t over charge. Very impressed.

Iā€™ve some sort of Phillips thing in orc green. First beard trimmer I ever had and it was a revelation. I was a trimmer virgin though so might turn out that itā€™s rubbish.

I use one of these things. Changed my lifeā€¦ in that now my wife doesnā€™t show me all the beard hairs sheā€™s found in the sink and on the floor for days after Iā€™ve trimmed the beard
