Thought this must be some weird slang
I thought only I knew the “stick to the white keys” trick
I only know the 3s and 2s trick
So, e.g., C +3 keys up + 2 = major
C + 2 + 3 = minor
Edit: but this works for every chord on piano
Surely +4 and +3?
I just adjust my fingers depending on if it sounds sad or not
Finally got around to watching part 2. John never gives up with his “your hosts for this evening” joke does he?
Actually started to find it funny after a while haha
Just finished it. The rooftop footage was excellent but my favourite bit was when it cut to George in the mixing room afterwards, going “I’m sorry, but where exactly in ‘THE LAW’ does it say we can’t hold a gig on a London roof?”, and about three people all answer “disturbance of the peace, innit”
Just finished it there. Don’t think I’ll ever see a better documentary about being in a band and friendship that goes along with it. So brilliant.
Really enjoyed it! My views are pretty much similar to everyone else on this thread. So many fascinating and amusing moments. I am now on a massive Beatles binge which will probably go on until the new year
Got to say the post crew have done some incredible work with separating and rebalancing all the dialogue and music during the rehearsals from what I guess would’ve only been a mono 1/4" tape from an old Nagra recorder!
If you know, when you cancel your subscription, do you get a percentage back or do you have to pay for the whole month?
No I think you get the full month that you’ve paid for and then it cuts off.
Asked my mate if he’d seen the Beatles doc and got this reply. Think he might have been very very drunk

the beetles… Just one band.
Alright, Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip.
Watching McCartney 321 now. I’ve got a fever, and the only cure, is more slow-paced Beatles documentaries
I’m going to start an anthology rewatch soon
