Just got really pissy/pass-agg in their communications towards the end and even though I love their sours so much I probably won’t be getting them again in a hurry because it’ll just remind me of how rubbish and experience this was :frowning:

Get them from a shop once this has blown over.

Nah, I’m that soured on them now. They definitely won’t be high up my order of priorities.

(pun not easily avoidable)

Probably going to have to lobby my favourite shop to try stock Vault City as a replacement.

I’ve been to their taproom but there was a Dutch popup on and I just got loaded on Kees stouts instead. Um.

They’ve made quite the splash here and all the people in the NE Facebook group speak highly of them.

Not as bad as the pub opposite Ansbach & Hobday that charge £6 a pint…

and yeah, I know the obvious answer here is “well that’s what you get for living in London” but even £6 a pint (ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS MADE ACROSS THE ROAD) is a lot

Earlier in this thread I said Northern Monk were overrated. I was a fucking idiot. This is delicious. Lovely sherbet zing and citrus fruitiness. BIG FAN.

I really loved Ransack the Universe (IPA) and the guava gose. The latter looks like it only comes in 330ml cans now, which sucks.

2 pints of 8% beer, love it

I love Cafe Beermoth, their boozer - my most checked-in-at venue on UT, despite others in the area having had a head start - but I haven’t bought from the shop in absolutely ages now, bar the odd can from the fridge if I’m getting a train from Victoria and have time to walk up. The big Cloudwater stouts change hands for about £11 when they’re £7 tops from Unit 9. Dearly want the bar to still be kicking at the end of this but they do themselves no favours at the shop.

you’ll like this if you’re sick of the Verdant-type DIPAs. Nice change of pace
