Hah I asked about this in the M&S at Manx Piccadilly and the guy was like “these (mikkeller) have NEVER been in the 3 for £5” and I was a bit taken aback. After a pause he qualified it with “…at this store anyway”
Was just hearing at the AGM how far our beer is travelling now, quite exciting. Apparently the stuff that makes it to Australia sells out in a weekend when it arrives
Wonder if there are any UK beers that have a (lesser) version of the mystique that Pliny the Elder etc. have

Mate bought me a bottle home from holiday. Kept the bottle for ages, but decided to bin it last week. Put it pride of place at the top of the recycling bin just to freak out any Beer Wankers that might walk past my house.

I went down that rabbit hole after looking up what the highest rated UK beer was on Rate Beer. I did very nearly order some - they had the ropiest old Geocities looking website which only added to the mystique. Have you ever tried it?
this has just been kegged for the first time (allegedly), my local has one on the way. barely remember having it at dark city (cask) unfortunately.

I had it - was on at a pub in Edinburgh. We just bought it cos I was having a bad day and wanted a strong one. That story is quite funny.
