#beerweek what's the best regularly spotted craft option

Not like yer neck oils and punks, the smaller breweries that you see relatively regularly in places with good selections.

Deya Steady Rolling Man the first that comes to mind for me

Is Snake Eyes by Black Iris a craft?

There’s a venue in Brighton that has it on tap, which also has fantastic sound. I love it when gigs come up there.

I was going to mention Endless Summer, so yes

I like how craft beer salesmen speak like engineers, in that they’re responsible for the product so you ask something like how much weight it can take or how it tastes and they just fire back with more questions, how are you drinking it, what for, what do you like to eat, what’s your star sign?

Anyway, Sussex / Brighton options: I always like to see Unbarred Joosy and Abyss Superfuzz on the taps. Lesser spotted is Burning Sky Arise, which is better than both. I really do wish more places had Beak Parade on - there’s a few places in Lewes that have it, but it’s a bit of a rarity.

I like Steady Rolling Man but it seems to have become accepted that you can charge whatever you want for it (an otherwise sensibly priced burger place I went to last year was charging £7 a can which was a bit ridiculous).

In Bristol it’s either Kaleidoscope, Wanna Go to the Sun or Laser Juice. I like Keller Pils too but I get a very specific headache if I have more than two.

Can’t really think of anything that fits the bill, either I’m in a wanky place (quite rare these days) or somewhere where Punk would already be pushing it.

Steady Rolling Man is the new Neck Oil.

Oh, and the Basketmakers has this on tap these days. It’s a bit $$$, but absolutely delicious if you want to treat yourself

Alright real talk sludge fans, I’m into Polly’s craft wise. Always great. Especially this one

A few Fullers pubs round my way have Verdant Lightbulb on. So maybe that. But I tend to go to either a couple of cask led places or the beer wanker place in town.

My local is a Greene King place that has (always the same) 2 local beers on their cask lines. But I always get an Estrella Galicia in there.

Drank a lot of lightbulb this summer as the session-y pale at my local. Also a lot of Kernel pale which is better imho

Fair whack of turning points disco king here which is nice

Northern Monk always great too

I don’t actually like Lightbulb. I think it’s maybe Verdant’s worst beer - it’s so thin compared to everything else they make. I wanted to add a Verdant beer into my post, because I love them so much, but the only one you see on taps is Lightbulb
