Does anyone know how/where one would go to get advice on this subject? I think I am going to have to resign a company directorship and then sue the company. FML.
Yes.
Post Office
Definitely feel like this is the sort of scenario the average DiSser finds themselves in on a regular basis
BBC Two have a series about this on iPlayer at the moment.
Talk to your HR director.
Oh, that might be worth watching.
It’s not to do with where I work. It’s to do with me being a company director, resigning, but still owning an equal number of shares for which the remaining directors will have to pay me if they don’t want to me to be a shareholder still.
PM me yr exact situation and I can do a bit of research for you tomorrow.
in a way we’re all the company director and shareholder of our own lives
Have you looked in a bowl of rice?
Barry?
hi, PM me.
What do your company’s articles of association say? If there are ‘bad leaver’ provisions, then you resigning will usually trigger an automatic transfer of your shares for nominal value. Not good. So do nothing until you know what the deal is under the articles, or any shareholders agt that may be in place.
Cheers, I’ll look it up.
