I still can’t get it in to my head that Andy King isn’t Andy Reid. Every time he’s mentioned, I think of that fat knacker from Forest

Fuck you man! Leave Reidy alone :’(

He’s not wrong

…and if Wenger steps down and they drop away from the top 4 all the same pundits will be like “Shouldn’t have sacked Wenger/Absolute disgrace after what he did for the club/Fans deserve it”.

I’m more with Gary Neville there.

why do people assume that they’ll drop out of the champions league spots though? they’ve got, on paper, a fantastic squad, better than Liverpool and Tottenham IMO.

THERE IS LITERALLY NO CHANCE IN HELL OF ARSENAL FINISHING OUTSIDE THE TOP-4, WHY DOES ANYONE EVER THINK IT MIGHT HAPPEN WHEN THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME SEASON EVERY SINGLE YEAR!?

does Motty still pretend that he got a scoop from talking to the manager before the game ?

The suggestion was that they might without Wenger. Of course there’s literally no chance they’ll drop out with him.

@profk I think on the whole people don’t “assume” anything, just aknowledge that it’s a risk. They might be fine, they might get a great manager, open the coffers, sign the new Viera and a top, top, top striker and win the league. They might not. It’s a big risk to take considering they are consistently the fourth of fifth highest spending team in the league and there’s teams struggling more with higher paid managers with bigger reputations and more funds.

Meanwhile, those Liverpool and Tottenham squads are getting praised for (on the whole) doing the same or worse than Arsenal and importantly not winning anything. And that’s the best either have done in a decade! There’s a difference between being cowardly and cautious.

“You have Tottenham, everyone is in the fight and everyone is behind their team. We have to do exactly the same, even if we had two disappointing results.”

Bit like Moyes’s aspire to be like City comment that.

Genuinely think he’s just on a mission to wind up the Arsenal fans as much as possible now. Can’t say I blame him, tbh.

Looks like Spanish teams could have been doping their players this whole time and faced absolutely no risk of consequences.

Good job that they’re all far too moral for that kind of thing

We’ll have those two Champions Leagues back now please, Pep.

The Championship’s been better than the Premier League this season. True story. Obviously that means Wednesday v Birmingham will be a fucking stinker, but the point stands.

took them a while but is this because of the legal case or something?

:grinning:

Nothing on Warburton leaving Rangers lads?

No Scottish chat. Obviously.
