not bands you actually dislike or want to mock, just ones you don’t get. Maybe it’s an age issue, a production issue, or you liked that one EP they did and then their sound changed and you never kept up after that

Hot Chip - The Warning is excellent and Coming on Strong has some fun tracks, but for whatever reason nothing since then has ever really moved me or got struck in my head. Seems like they’d be a blast live so I wish I cared more

Phoebe Bridgers has an incredible voice but something about her songwriting or production choices mean her songs just don’t land for me.

This is great though

I’ve really struggled with Little Simz. One of those annoying ones where it just feels like I’m missing something that other people are clicking with.

Glad she exists, clearly making interesting music and choices and doing exactly what she wants - and I enjoy maybe 2 or 3 of her tracks and never think to explore more
