I once saw a guy I used to know in Sainsburys and rushed over to him to say hello, only halfway there I realised it wasn’t an old friend, but TV personality Ben Shephard! He looked at me blankly as I sheepishly wheeled my trolley away from him.

He’s got a tough day job filling in for whatever reactionary rent-a-gob GMB has on for the rest of the week.
He’s clearly absolutely apolitical with no significant interest / knowledge of basically any political issues so just sits there going ‘‘ah, right’’ no matter which ‘‘debate’’ they’ve set up that morning.
