Lift To Experience (after seeing them at Green Man)
The Hotelier - HLNPIT
Can (after dabbling a but I went full in this year. My mate has a krautrock focussed blog so he gave me a playlist. Kicked on from there.)

This year has had a very heavy focus on new releases for me though

I have about 4 hours commute back and forth 5 days a week, so I have a LOT of time to listen to albums I haven’t heard before…

Television - Marquee Moon needs to go on the list

That album is superb. One of the best of the last 10 years.

John Murry - The Graceless Age
All of Steely Dan’s 70s records plus Donald Fagan’s The Nightfly

Also Shellac, Black Flag and Big Black - finally plugged that gap this year.

Vaudou Game - Kidayu
William Onyeabor - World Psychedelic Classics 5

Not much more than that, I’d say

He had a new album out in July, it’s called “A Short History Of Decline”. Have to admit, that despite loving The Graceless Age, I have given the new one a decent listen yet.

Cheers for that. I totally missed that one somehow, will try & get to it over the weekend
